Across Scotland
We work closely with our clients, integrating ourselves within their management team and providing a consistent and tailored solution to meet their needs.
The problem
To ensure that Cowiesburn and their clients were complying with their legal obligations relating to the management and ownership of commercial properties, the company wanted a consistent approach to providing health and safety and fire risk assessments across all of their managed properties across the UK.
How we were able to help
After consultation with the Cowiesburn property management team, a schedule and pricing model was produced to ensure the annual inspection of all managed commercial properties over a 12-month period.
The inspections are arranged by Armour’s health and safety consultant, including notifying occupants and obtaining keys and access codes. A full visual inspection and review of site documentation is performed, with photographic evidence collected as required. We also recognise the importance of tenant feedback, as they are the regular occupiers of the building, and our health and safety consultant ensures that tenants are consulted and feedback collated ready for presentation to Cowiesburn.
The final health and safety and fire risk assessment reports are produced to a customised design to help the property manager prioritise the actions to be completed.
A follow-up meeting with the property manager is undertaken to review key actions and to address any questions.
